Vanta Networks
Code of conduct
Last updated 9 October 2026
Vanta Networks is a professional community. Membership is open to coaches of any background, tradition or none, and what follows is what makes that possible. It applies on the calls, in peer coaching, in the group chat and anywhere else members meet because of Vanta.
Keep it professional
Treat every member as a colleague. The calls, your peer coaching hour and the group chat are working relationships, not social or romantic ones.
Do not pursue a member personally or romantically through Vanta. No advances, no persistent personal attention, no using a coaching relationship as an opening. If somebody declines or goes quiet, that is an answer. This is the rule we will act on fastest, and the only thing a member has to do to invoke it is tell us.
Do not use membership to sell to other members, recruit them, or add them to a mailing list. Peer coaching is coaching, not a sales call.
Your convictions are yours
Members hold every kind of belief, religious, political and otherwise, and all of them are welcome here. What is not welcome is treating your own as the room’s shared assumption.
Speak for yourself rather than for everyone. If faith, politics or worldview is genuinely part of how a member works, say so in those terms. Do not open a coaching session with prayer, invoke a shared belief nobody has stated, or carry a cause into a professional conversation that was not about it. A member who wants that conversation can ask for it. Assuming it is how people end up quietly uncomfortable and saying nothing.
This cuts every way. It is not about any one tradition, it is about the difference between bringing yourself to your work and expecting everybody else to share it.
What is said here
Treat what members share on calls and in peer coaching as confidential. Do not repeat it, quote it, or carry it to a client. Do not record a call or a peer session without asking everyone on it first.
Telling us
If something makes you uncomfortable, tell us. You do not need evidence, a policy citation or certainty that it was intentional. Open the member’s profile, press the ··· beside their name and choose Report a concern, or email an owner directly.
Your report goes only to the owners. The person it concerns is not told who raised it. You can also block a member yourself, which stops you being matched with them for peer coaching and stops either of you messaging the other, and they are never told.
What happens then
An owner reads every report. Depending on what has happened we may speak with the member, separate you in peer coaching, or end their membership.
We can end any membership at any time, with or without a report, if we judge that someone is making this community worse. A removed member loses access to the calls, the directory, peer coaching and the group chat, and we will refund the unused part of their current month. We would rather lose a member than keep one at the cost of everybody else’s comfort.
We also reserve the right to decline anyone’s membership without giving a reason.
Agreeing to this
Every member accepts this code when they join, and again if it materially changes. It sits alongside the Terms and the Privacy policy.
